Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 7:30 p.m. to experience "Art Cart." In addition to being fun, making things with your hands benefits child development, especially fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Each week, we'll provide supplies and a suggested project that you can make with your child. This self paced activity for you to enjoy with your child(ren) will be set up in the storytime room.

Teens, join us at Stillwater Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. for a chance to come together and share your short stories, poetry, or prose. Workshop original writing and gain critical feedback from your peers in a no-pressure environment! This is your chance to network, socialize and collaborate with other teens interested in writing. There will also be opportunities to try out different kinds of writing exercises and discuss topics in writing. Ages 12-18.

The Historical Society will host its annual Family Fun Night at the Museum on Saturday, August 17th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Octagon House Museum, at 1004 3rd Street, Hudson. This is a free event and open to the public.
Families are invited to enjoy an evening full of family friendly games, activities and refreshments.

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. for Baby Storytime with singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing at this inclusive storytime for families with babies. This is a time for you and your baby to bond with one another. Stay and play after storytime (until noon). It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills! This storytime is recommended for developmental ages 0-2 and their grown-ups (siblings always welcome).

More dogs! Dog enthusiasts are invited to learn the responsibilities of dog ownership. Anyone with a registered breed can try out free events like agility, rally and obedience training. Woodbury Days, the city's biggest and most beloved summer festival, returns to Ojibway Park at the end of the month for its 41st year. Organizers report that, last year, almost 300 businesses participated in the event and more than 30,000 people attended.
