St. Croix Valley Magazine

St. Croix Valley Magazine wants to publish your writing. We are looking for creative, thoughtful, first-person essays (up to 400 words) on topics close to your heart—inspiring stories about neighbors and friends or something you particularly love about life in the St Croix Valley.

Bill and Carole Hamilton of Lake St. Croix Beach visited the home that inspired the setting of Anne of Green Gables during their trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

When 11-year old Danny Valerius of Stillwater was diagnosed with leukemia, members of his school community showed their solidarity by shaving their heads before he began treatment.

Dylan Hegh, Rebecca Van Amber, Joshua Gagnon, Chris Niebuhr, and Ashley Deane hiked the Routeburn Track near Queenstown during their recent trip to New Zealand.

Thank you to everyone who cast votes in the 2015 Best of St. Croix Valley survey. During the month of October, this community weighed in on their favorite shops, restaurants, hot spots and more. The results of the annual readers’ choice survey will appear in the March issue of St.
