Stupor Bowl

Come join the 23rd Annual Stupor Bowl! This is the longest Messenger Run Alley Cat Race in the US. There will be tons of fun during the weekend, with the race happening on Saturday and multiple other events including a hangover bar and karaoke to follow. Winter Trails Day 2020

Polar Dash

Run like a Yeti for Minnesota’s 13th annual Polar Dash. Compete in one of two challenges by running in multiple races or go all in for the 2020M. All registered adults will receive a medal and either a Polar Dash performance fleece or jacket. Registered youth runners will receive a Polar Dash hat. Frozen Flannel Bonspiel

Be a part of this second annual outdoor curling and bonspiel event. Participants will enjoy traditional curling experiences inlcuding learn to curl sessions and curling contests. There will also be ice skating. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the ice bar along with Aamodts hot apple cider and snacks from G.I. Joe’s Food Truck. Bagpipes will accompany the march of the bonspiel teams at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Festivities will last until 6 p.m. that day and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. Frozen Gnome Fat Tire Challenge

Big Ring Flyers are a race team and cycling club based in Hudson, Wis. Members want to encourage bike riding all year long. So get outdoors to check out or compete in this fat tire bike racing event. Categories include a competitive race class as well as an open ride class, plus fat tire bike demonstrations. Food and beer will be available for purchase. Afton Alps Opening Day

Minnesota’s premier family-friendly winter resort, Afton Alps, is opening for the much-anticipated ski and snowboard season on Friday, November 22 at 3:30 p.m. To celebrate, Afton Alps will offer s’mores and hot cocoa, food trucks, live music, hat-making and much more until the resort closes at 8 p.m. Opening day rates will be $39, or $34 with the Preferred Program. Reindeer Run

Calling all runners and walkers! It’s time for the 32nd annual Reindeer Run. Participants will choose from a variety of race options and race around Lake Harriet. There’s the Kids Run, 5k Not Time, 5k Chip Time, 10k Chip Time and the Yukon Challenge 15k. 0.5K Winter Beer Dash

You don’t have to be a runner to enjoy this event! The Minnesota Brewery Running Series is hosting a dash between Bauhaus Brew Labs and 612Brew. The run only lasts a few blocks, and you’re invited to take your time getting from one brewery to the other. All are invited to participate, but to enjoy the beer you must be 21 and up.
