The annual celebration returns for its ninth year.

Grab your parkas and don your mittens, Winterfest is taking Stillwater by (snow) storm.

“Winterfest is more than just a celebration; it’s an opportunity to unite the Stillwater community and showcase the spirit of the St. Croix Valley,” says Judd Sather, owner of One23 Events. “From the excitement of live music to the warmth of local shops and the creativity of our contests, there’s something for everyone to enjoy—and it all supports our local charities and businesses.”

Festivities kick off on February 19 with the Parka Club Crawl. Sample sips from your favorite dining establishments. Earn “punches” throughout Winterfest by visiting participating businesses or entering event activities for the chance to win big.

Friday holds Opening Ceremonies at Lift Bridge Brewery. You can also test your strength at the stein holding contest, show off your culinary skills in the casserole cookoff and dance the night away to live music at JX Venue afterwards.

Saturday brings the celebration to a crescendo with a vendor market, dancing and karaoke for the kids, a competitive bags tournament and more. Stop by Papa’s Rooftop or River Siren Brewing to cap off the evening with a dazzling fireworks display.

On Sunday, start the morning off right with brunch at JX Event Venue. Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue is bringing adoptable puppies to the Puppies & Pumps Drag Brunch, and a portion of all ticket sales will go back to the local nonprofit. You can also enjoy the show while playing purse bingo.
