Visit Afton Apple Orchard for its annual apple festival. Make memories with your loved ones by participating in this super fun seasonal activity that everyone is sure to love. Take a hayride into the orchard for apple picking or just for fun. The kids will want to conquer Straw Mountain or hitch a ride on the Moo Moo Choo Choo train. There is also a petting zoo for the youngsters to enjoy. Afton Apple Orchard is also home to a 15-acre corn maze! Three sections of corn maze offer fun for all levels of explorers from directionally challenged to expert puzzle solvers. Or keep it low-key and watch a cider pressing demonstration before trying some for yourself. Pick your own apples from pint-sized trees or stock up by the bushel at the orchard store. Other Minnesota grown products available for sale at Afton Apple Orchard include honey, apple cider, jams and maple syrup. Throughout the apple season, visitors can enjoy apple donuts, apple fritters, caramel apples, caramel apple sundaes, hot dogs and soda.
