A hobby photographer captures an award-winning image at the World Snow Sculpting Championship.
A snow sculptor at the World Snow Sculpting Championship in Stillwater is the subject of this colorful image, taken by area resident Maribeth Lundeen. “I was attracted to the detail in the carving,” Lundeen says, adding that she spent a long time speaking with the sculptors, an all-women team from Canada. “They were used to working in very cold weather.” she says. Lundeen is a hobby photographer and has taken photography workshops across the globe. She focuses on travel and landscape photography.
