Wellness Carnival with Shout Out Loud

St. Peter Lutheran Church is partnering with Shout Out Loud to host its annual event and are looking for activity partners.

The Wellness Carnival is a free event where nothing is sold, and each booth teachings a coping skills and/or connects people to local resources like a therapist or mental health organization. If you have a skill that you would like to volunteer to share—perhaps teaching people how to play a few chords on the guitar, or a craft that you use to relax like painting—we would love for you to help us run a booth. Shout Out Loud is an organization that works to prevent suicide by connecting people with resources, and by teaching children and adults coping skills to deal with stress and other issues. The idea is that if we can connect people to resources and skills we can save lives by intervening before it becomes a crisis.
