A Christian music festival comes to the Somerset Amphitheater.

For the past 32 years, Minnesota has hosted one of the top Christian music festivals in the nation. The Sonshine Festival launched in 1982 on the campus of Willmar Community College to rave reviews, and as the years went on, attendance skyrocketed. Drawing roughly 20,000 music lovers from near and far, Sonshine Festival’s lineup became more impressive with each passing year. This year, the festival has a new venue: Wisconsin’s own Somerset Amphitheater.

With paved walkways, on-site camping, RV sites and a scenic backdrop, Somerset Amphitheater has all of the features a premier music festival could need. “Sonshine has always offered an amazing opportunity for college students, families, church groups and friends to experience the best in Christian music and speakers in beautiful surroundings,” says Harry Thomas Jr., co-founder of Creation Festivals, which oversees similar concerts nationwide. “Now, with the larger venue of the Somerset Amphitheater, Sonshine has room to grow, and it will only get better.”
