Washington County Parks Foraging Orientation

Discover the secrets of sustainable foraging in an engaging, hands-on orientation at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park’s Ravine Landing from 5–7 p.m. September 1.

At the event hosted by Washington County Parks and Ironwood Foraging, you’ll learn more about the park, the foraging permit process, foraging etiquette and tips and tricks on sustainable gathering. This orientation is geared toward new foragers and users planning to apply for Washington County Parks’ free foraging permit.

The orientation is free, and no vehicle permit is required for attendees. Registration is required. Attendees must be 18 and older and should dress for the weather. If inclement weather occurs, the orientation class will be rescheduled.
