Zephyr Theatre Presents “An Evening in the Shire” Fundraiser

Big news from Stillwater’s Zephyr Theatre: at 7 p.m. on June 6, the Zephyr is presenting An Evening in the Shire, a massive fundraising party transforming Aamodt’s Apple Farm in Stillwater into a Middle-Earth celebration, and we’d love everyone to join in the magic.

This fundraiser comes ahead of the Zephyr’s summer production of The Hobbit, July 23–26 and July 30–August 2. Support from the event will be used for everything that makes the Zephyr a beacon of light and comfort for the community—education programs, innovative theatrical productions and work for creatives.

An Evening in the Shire (event will be held indoors, so plan to come rain or shine!) will feature:

• First Sneak-Peek: See the cast perform a fully staged showcase of Scene 1 from The Hobbit
• Complimentary food item and beverage per ticket (thanks to Aamodt’s Apple Farm, Thor’s Hard Cider and Saint Croix Vineyards)
• 20 percent discount on your ticket to one performance of The Hobbit this summer and your name highlighted in The Hobbit program
• Raffle drawing for a special Hobbit basket to enjoy at The Hobbit (please bring cash or check to enter)
• Donation photo op with the cast of The Hobbit taken by a photographer
• Fund-a-need with the Zephyr
• Last Hero game
• Live shire music and mingling.
