Ever wondered what goes on behind the curtain at the Phipps Center for the Arts? From noon–3 p.m. on March 29, the community is invited to discover the magic firsthand at Phipps Community Day, a free, all-ages open house packed with creativity, exploration, and fun.
Visitors will have the rare opportunity to step behind the scenes and experience the Phipps like never before. Curious how the Mighty Wurlitzer organ works? Interested in the tools and tricks tucked inside the scene shop? Ever wanted to explore the backstage areas of the Black Box Theater? Phipps Community Day is your chance to find out.
The event will feature:
