Love Your Melon Grand Opening at the Mall of America

Mall of America® celebrates the return of Love Your Melon (LYM) with an official grand opening event October 24.

Guests are invited to join the celebration and experience the Build Your Own Beanie Studio, where they can personalize hats with patches, poms and add-ons, all while supporting LYM’s mission to bring comfort and hope to kids battling cancer and other life-threatening conditions. Visitors will also enjoy live music from Minnesota artist Colin Bracewell, food and drinks from Niko Niko Boba, Red Cow and Café Latte, while shopping exclusive in-store merchandise available only at Mall of America.

Event Highlights:

• Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m.

• Build Your Own Beanie: A hands-on, custom experience where guests can choose their own colors, patches, poms and beanie charms.

• Limited Edition Drops: Thousands of products will launch throughout the season—available in-store only.

• LYM Share Your Story Experience: Free photo booths and storytelling spaces for guests to capture and share their Love Your Melon moments.

• Beanies for Nat Installation: A moving display of thousands of handmade beanies created by our community in memory of Nathalia Hawley and all children bravely battling cancer.

• Tastes + Treats: Enjoy bites and drinks from Red Rabbit, Café Latte and Niko Niko Boba.

• Musical Performance by Minneapolis-based indie pop artist and contestant on The Voice, Colin Bracewell.

• Giveaways throughout the event.
