Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, January 17 at 10:15am for Toddler & Preschool Drive-In Movie. Ready for a Drive-In Movie? Bring a box that your child can sit in. We will have craft supplies on hand to rev-up your child’s “car”! We will have a small supply of boxes on hand so don’t let not having one stop you from joining us. We will enjoy popcorn and a video of Mo Willem’s “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!”. Get in gear and drive on over! Ages 2-5.

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, January 12 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. for Chinese Dragon Lantern Art for kids. Prepare for Chinese New Year by making a colorful dragon lantern! Learn to draw a Chinese style dragon then color it as you wish with bright and metallic crayons. We will then construct a colorful lantern shape around our drawing with neon paper and add a handle for hanging. This art workshop is for children in grades K-5th. Presented by White Bear Center for the Arts.

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Wednesday, June 13 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. for Felt Collage Class for Kids (Grades K-5). Explore line, shape and color while making a bright felt collage based on the paintings of 20th century Austrian artist, Friedensreich Hundertwasser. We will explore the textures of different textiles and how to manipulate those materials when making a collage. Kids in grades K-5 who are able to work independently (or with an older sibling) are welcome to participate.

Did you know the library is one place your child can build confidence reading to a furry friend? Bella, the Golden Retriever, is a Certified Therapy dog who visits certain Mondays and she loves when kids read to her. This program is geared toward kids ages 7-12.
