WonderWeavers Storytellers present: Stories Alive!

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. for WonderWeavers Storytellers present: Stories Alive!  Reading and stories go hand in hand. In this lively program your favorite stories and books come alive with our unique blend of storytelling. Using audience participation, puppets, props and magic, this program promotes literacy and reinforces the importance of reading for people of all ages.

Summer Reading Kick-Off with Brodini - Comic Magician

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. for Summer Reading Kick-Off with Brodini - Comic Magician. International Master Magician, Brodini, is back! He'll be helping us kick-off the start of Summer Reading! Enjoy the wonderful comedy magic and pick up your reading reading materials while you're at it. Check back often to see what's been added to the event caledar because it's going to be another fun summer at the library.

Family Storytime: Stillwater Library

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays from 10:15 - 10:45 a.m. for stories, songs, fingerplays, and more to encourage the development of early literacy skills. For all children and their caregivers. We will have special guests or themes on the following dates: May 29 - Color My World with the Storyman from England, June 5 - STEM Storytime with Warner Nature Center, July 10 - STEM Storytime, and August 28 - Let’s Move & Sound Like Animals with the Storyman from England.

Minnesota Boychoir Spring Concert

The Minnesota Boychoir’s Spring Concert program will feature a diverse and exciting mix of traditional and contemporary sacred and secular works, including famed British choral composer Bob Chilcott's arrangement of U2's “MLK,” Billy Joel's “Good Night My Angel,” “All Good Gifts” from Godspell, Bradley Ellingboe's “How Can I Keep From Singing” and “Long Walk to Freedom,” based on a text by Nelson Mandela. Stillwater LEGO Build

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on the third Tuesday in April and May from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. for LEGO Build. Come to the library and attempt some LEGO challenges! Creations will be on display in the stairwell glass display case. You can also play with our 2 newly donated Laser Peg sets!

Origami Butterflies for Kids

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, April 13 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. for Origami Butterflies for Kids. Welcome spring as we make painted origami butterflies. Learn to fold an origami butterfly with big watercolor paper, then paint it as you wish with liquid watercolor. We will also draw large flowers, close up, creating a place for our butterflies to perch! This art workshop is for children in grades K-5. Read more about Origami Butterflies for Kids

Pajama Storytime

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursdays this month at 6:30 p.m. for Pajama Storytime. Feel free to wear pajamas to this family storytime in the evening featuring stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and other activities.

Spring Break - LEGO Build

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, March 14 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm for Spring Break - LEGO Build. We know not everyone is going to be out of town during the district's spring break. Come to the library and attempt some LEGO challenges. Creations will be on display in the stairwell glass display case. You can also play with our 2 newly donation Laser Peg sets!
