Earlier this year, our readers’ choice online survey sought your input regarding which restaurants, retailers and service providers you like best in the St. Croix Valley. Your votes have been counted and the top three finalists in each category are listed here in alphabetical order.
The St. Croix Valley is quaint and, as such, both adored and overlooked by tourists. Tourism guides Explore Minnesota and Travel Wisconsin highlight state strongholds, while tourism-ready businesses in Marine on St. Croix (Minn.) or Dresser (Wis.), may feel drowned out in the din.

The past two summers, St. Croix Valley Magazine has hosted a photo contest recognizing images that celebrate Valley life. This year’s winner is Art Juchno of Hudson, who submitted a large selection of pirate images.
Many would agree that the young people of the Hudson community are one of its biggest assets when it comes to serving others and shaping future generations.

On any given Wednesday evening from April through October, St. Croix Valley diners might visit their favorite eatery to discover dozens of motorcycles crowding the parking lot. Chances are those bikes belong to members of the St. Croix Valley Harley Owners Group (SCVHOG).
