Featuring fine art and contemporary craft, this unique tour includes studios extending from Afton and Stillwater, Minn. to Hudson, Wis. Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, April 13 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. for Origami Butterflies for Kids. Welcome spring as we make painted origami butterflies. Learn to fold an origami butterfly with big watercolor paper, then paint it as you wish with liquid watercolor. Sleeping Beauty, one of the world's most enduring and beloved fairy tales, tells the story of Princess Aurora who has an evil spell cast on her by the angry and wicked fairy, Carabosse. The Lilac Fairy, the fairy of wisdom, triumphs over the evil fairy leaving Aurora to sleep for 100 years only to be awakened by the kiss of the Brave Prince who follows the Lilac Fairy to the palace where the princess sleeps.
